My first experience with mirrorless cameras was in early 2018 during a trip to Scandinavia. Fujifilm India was kind enough to lend me the X-T2 for almost 15 days along with 2 lenses and an extra battery. This was the primary camera I used during the entire trip because my backup Nikon just felt too heavy to pull out of the bag. I was also impressed by the OTA changes implemented by Fuji to activate and/or modify features based on customer feedback. Attending the launch of the X-T3 was also a great experience.
Two years on, Fujifilm has introduced the X-T4 which is a totally different experience especially if you own a traditional DSLR. The almost full metal body and the dedicated dials to set the ISO, Aperture and Shutter speeds and other dedicated switches are a joy to work with. The settings can be previewed in the viewfinder before taking the shot. In my case, it meant fewer and more perfect shots each time.

The new AF algorithm on the X-T4 gives an AF speed of up to 0.02 second; which is the fastest AF speed among mirrorless cameras with an APS-C size sensor.
The Face / Eye AF performance has been updated and is now around twice as good at tracking people’s face and eye while shooting in burst mode.
The AF system in the X-T4 works down to -6.0EV, which is almost complete darkness. The phase detection AF system is fast and accurate even in these low light conditions.
4K/60P & Full HD/240P Videos
The X-T4 features a new Film Simulation mode, “ETERNA Bleach Bypass,” to give both film and stills a more artistic look, with images having reduced saturation and increased contrast.
The X-T4 has 63 weather sealed points which gives it the advanced level of dust- and moisture resistance.

The High and Low ISO settings have been removed from the dial and have to set in the menu
No built-in flash
No GPS
No dedicated headphone jack-we have to use the included USB-C adapter instead
